This six week beginners course has been crafted for students interested in Yoga and Mindfulness.
Sandi will give a brief talk each week on the History of Yoga, Basic Anatomy of Breathing, Yoga Theory and Philosophy. Practice will cover the the classic body of yoga postures in a safe and relaxed environment where questions are welcomed and Mindfulness is facilitated. A focus on healthy alignment and Pranayama (breathing practices) will help cultivate strength and understanding as well as cultivate greater mental clarity and calm.
Students will receive personal attention and individual needs will be supported.
These sessions are non competitive and a great opportunity to encourage you to carve-out time for your own well being.
The Beginner’s Course is an ideal way to discover Yoga and connect with yourself in a fun and safe space. Perfect for beginners, those who like to learn sequentially or anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of Yoga and Mindfulness practice.
On completion of the course you will have the experience, confidence and knowledge to attend any of The Life Centre’s Yoga Level 1 or Level 1-2 classes.
