Summer may be over, but I don’t plan on forgoing ice-cream just because the weather is changing. Ice-cream has always been one of my favourite desserts and Jude’s vegan ice-cream is delicious, plus they have a large range of ice-creams; dairy ice-creams, vegan choices, reduced calorie range, ice-cream lollies and kefir too. When I was asked to try Jude’s vegan range, I couldn’t hide my beaming smile. I have been a fan of Jude’s creamy and yummy ice-creams for a while now, so of course I would review their vegan range… though I already loved them!
Who are Jude’s?
Jude’s began with one man and a dream to make ice-cream, in a Hampshire barn twenty years ago. Since then, his entire family has joined the team and Jude’s has grown massively, from a small business, to a booming ice-cream empire that gives back to the community. They are a B Corp business and put the planet and people before profit. Jude’s has also become the UK’s first ever carbon negative ice-cream and desserts company. They donate to charity, plant trees, give to food banks and run educational programmes… that sounds pretty awesome to me.
We’ve tasted and tested literally thousands of different recipes over the years and have picked up over 50 Great Taste Awards to date.

Jude’s Vegan Ice-Cream Range
I was sent Jude’s Vegan ice-cream gift box and it was such a treat, especially as it’s my birthday this week. Not only did I receive six different vegan ice-creams, but I also received a lovely tote bag and recipe book too.
Here are my thoughts:
Vegan Chocolate Brownie
Surprisingly, my favourite! I totally thought it would be honeycomb, but the Chocolate Brownie won me over. Creamy and delicious chocolate ice-cream with gooey chucks of brownie. This oat-based ice-cream is sweet and delicious.
Vegan Honeycomb
Creamy and smooth, this is always a favourite. This oat-based ice-cream is sweet and yummy. Ideally, I would like a little more honeycomb in the ice-cream.
Vegan Salted Caramel
Delicious and sweet, I love the salted caramel. I like that this is oat based because I think coconut milk would make it too sweet. I serve my salted caramel with ginger snaps… it’s yummy.
Vegan Vanilla
A smooth and simple classic. This oat based ice-cream is packed with real vanilla beans. Incidentally, this tastes good with ginger snaps too!
Vegan Cookie Dough Brownie
Simply delicious and made with coconut milk which added to the sweetness. Chunks of gooey brownie and small pieces of frozen cookie dough. To be honest, I wanted more cookie dough, in larger chunks, as they were yummy.
Vegan Chocolate
Another classic. Made with coconut milk, this ice-cream is smooth and creamy. Just lovely. I added some chocolate to mine, to make it a chocolate chip and it was delicious.
Final Thoughts
I have used the words delicious, yummy and creamy several times for good reason because all these vegan flavours are just that. I really enjoyed my tubs of ice-cream and am looking forward to making one of the recipes from the recipe book… but first I need to order more ice-cream!
Jude’s have an extensive range and cater to many dietary requirements; vegan ice-creams, children’s lollies, as well as their classic dairy range.
The gift boxes are such a wonderful idea and perfect for birthday parties, a hen do, or a Saturday night!
