GLUTEN-FREE | DAIRY-FREE | VEGAN
Avocado salad dressing you say? Yes, we say, it’s delicious! And moreover, it’s so easy to make.
Avocado is one of our absolute favourite things. It’s like pure decadence. It’s creamy, soft and goes well on its own, in salads, pastas and even smoothies. We like to put it in everything and now we’ve incorporated it into a salad dressing. And best of all, the choice is up to you to make it as thick or as runny as you prefer.
This only takes minutes to make and is jam-packed with skin glowing vitamins, such as vitamin E. It’s also naturally dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan. And natural.
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/3 extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Method
- Slice the avocado in half and remove the stone and skin.
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth. If you want, you can make it thinner by adding more water.
We particularly like this over a crisp, crunchy red cabbage salad! How do you like it?
And don’t forget, as much as you want to guzzle this straight, this still contains fat, even though they’re considered ‘good fats’.
