Summer is heading our way and I can already smell the familiar aroma of BBQs being lit all around the neighbourhood. For vegetarians, the variety of options has recently boomed… thank goodness. I no longer have to stick to just the cold selection at a BBQ, I can now have a choice from many brands that have created delicious veggie and plant based options. I was recently given The Curators plant based mushroom burger to try and thought it was delicious. So, get ready to roll out your BBQs… here comes summer.
The Curators plant based mushroom burger and meatballs range are a welcome addition to a growing veggie and vegan market. As a veggie, I am so pleased that businesses have diversified their offerings and opened up their range to non meat eaters, meaning there is so much choice now available to me.
According to Wikipedia in 2018, approximately 7% of British people were vegan and 14% were vegetarian and this number keeps rising each year. Many big supermarkets now have their own dedicated range to this growing market and many businesses are creating awesome new dishes, bringing more variety.
