If you don’t do yoga but your partner/friend/family member does – it may all seem a bit myseterious to you and not sure what you could possibly get that they would like! So here are some perfect gifts that any yoga bunny is bound to appreciate!
Vinyasa Yoga Capris – Sweaty Betty £60
There’s a lot of bending in yoga, and sometimes yoga classes are busy and closely packed together…. Sweaty Betty has a range of yoga leggings that are 100% opaque meaning that however much you bend and however close you are to someone else your modesty will stay in tact. Also being from Sweaty Betty the quality of the material is lovely and made well, this particular pair are truly tried and tested by HLL and can report that they are comfortable, flattering and after numerous washes and wears are still good as new! Definitely one of our favourite pairs of capris to wear in yoga classes of all types – whether it is restorative, hot or power! (Sweaty Betty also have their winter sale on too so you might be able to save a few £ – bonus!)
Travel Yoga Rug – La Vie Boheme Yoga $68
For the yogi that travels about and wants to practice on beaches or wherever they find themselves. La Vie Boheme travel rugs are 100% organic cotton and these style of yoga rugs have been used traditionally in India for Mysore style Ashtanga practice for centuries. They can also be placed over a mat so doesn’t purely have to be for the traveller! There are a few different styles, the Mandala rug is our favourite but they are all so beautiful. They also have really gorgeous patterned yoga mats that are worth checking out as well. Only problem with this beautiful brand is that it is based in the US but they do ship to UK and it will be worth the wait and shipping as these are beautifully made and would make a very special gift.
The Towel – Lululemon £35
If you practice hot yoga or any style of dynamic or power yoga it is likely you work up a sweat during your practice. This ultra absorbent and non-slip towel from Lululemon is designed to be placed over the top of your yoga mat to make these practices less soggy and allow you to focus your mind on your yoga not your sweat! A very useful bit of kit and a million times better than any old regular towel that makes the practice really pretty awkward and slippy.
Cardi All-Day – Lululemon £158
Yes another Lululemon piece but they really know their stuff and their all their pieces are well made and technical so to be honest you just can’t go wrong there! This is their Cardi All-Day which is the perfect cover up to go to and from the gym and still look fabulous. It is cold outside at the moment and when you have been in a warm studio for a while you need to wrap up right. We like this cardi in the ‘heathered inkwell/black’ colourway but there are a few more to choose from….
Manduka Yoga Bag – Yogamatters £42
While looking for the perfect yoga mat carrier we came across this one which just ticks all our boxes. There are loads of lovely cotton bags out there but we live in London – it rains a lot! So this great little bag by Manduka is not only water resistant but has a separate section for your keys, gym card, change of clothing and then another for your mat, meaning you don’t have to carry this and another gym bag – this does everything!
