Nuts about Pip & Nut

August 18, 2021 by Lizzy Silverton Leave a Comment

If you are as nutty about nut butter as us, it may have been on your radar that Pip & Nut have made the move to glass jars for their butters.

Introducing glass jars

In project that has been two years in the making, Pip & Nut have started using recyclable glass jars for all of their delicious nut butters. Made from over 50% recycled glass, the new jars are also fully recyclable. And, for every box of glass jars that they are sending out, Pip and Nut are donating a jar of nut butter to the Hackney Foodbank. This really is nut butter done better!

Going nuts for all of the flavours!

We’ve been trying out all of the Pip and Nut flavours, from the Ultimate Crunchy Peanut Butter – perfect if you love a rich roasted flavour – to the new, limited edition Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Almond Butter – pure indulgence in a glass jar – which has just hit the shelves.

This was also my first time trying the Crunchy Maple Peanut Butter. I’d previously assumed it would be too sweet for me. However, it’s really delicious. There is a hint of sweetness against a hint of saltiness which makes his flavour so more-ish!

I’ve been adding nut butter to my porridge, dipping apple pieces into it and slathering it on bagels! I just can’t get enough nutty goodness!

Yum!

B Corps

What I also learnt is that Pip and Nut is a  Certified B Corporations. That is, a business that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. The B Corp community works toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high quality jobs with dignity and purpose.

So if you are on the hunt for a delicious nutty butter from a company with good environmental and ethical credentials, then look no further.

Let us know if you try out Pip and Nut’s delicious flavours and how you eat yours!
