We had the opportunity of cooking and tasting some of the new preferences available on the HelloFresh menu, at the Fresh Farm (HelloFresh offices)! We also got to meet and recreate the recipes with co-founder Patrick Drake.

The event was nice and intimate and we cooked in pairs to create a recipe from each section of the new preferences menu. The preferences menu highlights the flexibility most people have with their dietary needs. The options available are; gluten free, dairy free, veggie, low calorie, fish free, pork free and rapid (quick to prepare). I had the opportunity to create a rapid option – Tostadas Rapidas, a quick Mexican inspired recipe!
Highlights
The biggest highlight of the event has to be the food! Who doesn’t love good food and good company?! As well as tasting the meals we created, we got to sample some of the other recipes made by the other guests! The other meals we tried also included sweet potato wedges with steak and salad, meat free pasta with a helping of feta cheese, and vegan Thai curry!

Pleased to have the opportunity to try out the Rapid menu for 3 weeks, which will help me to resolve my ‘whats for dinner?’ debate!
