Victoria has come a long way in the last few years. Gone are the days when it was a place you only went if you worked in the Civil Service or to catch a train, now it’s a buzzing corner of London that’s fast becoming a foodie hotspot. Market Hall Victoria is the latest meeting and eating venue to hit the scene, and we went down to check it out and treat ourselves to a delicious brekkie.
Market Hall Victoria is truly an all day venue, it opens early for coffee (oh hi Press Coffee, we love you!) and breakfast and closes late after cocktails and impromptu dinners, with lots of time to hang out, catch up and chill through the day. Whether you’re on your way to work, looking for a place for a Mums’ catch up (lots of room for the mini humans to run riot, and staff who are kid friendly!) or somewhere to get your head down for a few hours with a slice of cake, Market Hall just works.
Now to breakfast! We love brekkie, seriously it’s a meal that works at any time of day and we will take any excuse for some eggs. Market Hall Victoria offers a whole host of breakfast treats, from the virtuous to the indulgent (Flank is definitely Friday treat!), so you’re bound to find something that takes your fancy. That being said, the breakfast options were a little limited for veggies and vegans, although we’ll never complain about being forced to eat Squirrel’s avo toast! This is definitely a spot that’s being added to our roster of spots to enjoy a post-run brunch!
Who would’ve thought that a funny corner by Victoria station would turn into such an awesome spot? We can’t wait to get back to Market Hall Victoria and check out the vibe in the evening (and try some of their cocktails!), plus we hear that there are some exciting plans that’ll be unveiled later this year! So watch this space!
