If you’re time poor (which comes with the territory in London) and don’t want to spend your evenings faffing around to make your dinner, (but also aren’t comfortable with being on first-name terms with the staff at your local Nando’s) then Hello Fresh have a healthy and convenient solution.
In a nutshell:
What is it? Hello Fresh have popped up in their first retail store for 1 month only
Where? Old Street Station
When: Throughout March 2017
Hello Fresh offer recipe kits with pre-measured, seasonal ingredients for you to buy and cook yourself at home. You can choose from Teriyaki Chicken, Sesame Crusted Salmon and Mexican Tomato Jumble. 10% of profits get donated to The Felix Project, the London-based charity dedicated to reducing food waste and food poverty.
As if that’s not generous enough, anyone purchasing an item from the pop-up will be in with the chance to enter an on-pack competition to win a money-can’t-buy foodie trip to Florence for two people. The lucky winner will spend the weekend in a traditional Italian Villa being taught the secrets of Tuscan cuisine by an Italian chef and sampling the delights of the local flavours and traditional delicacies.
The HelloFresh Pop-Up has been designed and installed by award-winning experiential agency Hot Pickle. We’ve been down for a visit and it looks great. Unfortunately as our roving reporter, Rosie, is vegan she couldn’t try anything, so if you do go down make sure you share pictures and thoughts on your meals with us on Twitter @hellofittyldn and Instagram @healthylivinglondon as well as @hellofreshuk
