WHO ARE THEY? SAVSE SMOOTHIES
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Savse was started by Guka Tavberidze, who, after finding it difficult to find smoothies as good as his mother made, decided to bring them to the market himself. His mother, Nina, is still involved in testing recipes ensuring the smoothies remain close to their Georgian roots. (The word Savse means ‘crammed’ in Georgian)

HLL thinks…
I really liked these – especially the Super Purple flavour – yes I am partial to a beetroot juice anyway, but this is just yummy! The flavours are quite sweet in general, but if sweeter drinks are not your taste perhaps try the Super Green. The sweetness does, however, also help you forget that you are downing kale, spinach and broccoli so it does play its part. There is also veg in all of them – which is worth noting – as a lot of smoothies out there are just packed full of fruit which can be a bit of sugary overdose. There are 2 of your 5 a day packed into each of these and definitely a great grab and go option.
