Cold tea? Sounds unappealing right? Think again. Teapigs, the purveyor of high-quality teas, has released two new flavours of cold brew tea that you can steep in cold water for a refreshing summery drink. The flavours are rose & lychee and apple & cucumber.
I was sceptical as I’m not a huge fan of herbal teas because, in my opinion, they can taste a bit insipid and like they’re lacking a huge whack of flavour. These pleasantly surprised me however by tasting like a fruity and light iced tea, perfect for swigging on a summer’s day in the park, during a workout or just throughout the day if you struggle to drink plain water.
I particularly enjoyed the rose & lychee flavour but I am a bit of a sucker for anything rose & lychee (especially if it happens to be alcoholic. I wonder if these could be used for a refreshing summer cocktail…? There’s a thought).
